Seeming to be one thing, while often in fact they are the other, Renegades™ don’t adhere to orthodox beliefs. The KÜHL Renegade Jean has the cut and style of jeans with the performance of softshell technical fabric pants. The Renegade softshell Jeans are cut from our newly improved Tufflex™ fabric. Tufflex™ fabric is a 4 way stretch, breathable, woven nylon microfiber with spandex.. The newly improved Tufflex uses a higher abrasion resistant nylon on the face to resist pilling and a soft microfiber yarn next to your skin to provide comfort. The face is also treated with a DWR water resistant finish, keeping the fabric dry and repelling dirt and stains. 40 UPF sun protection keeps you from sun exposure on a long hike. We used our Klassik fit which is slightly less full in the seat and upper thigh to take advantage of Tufflex's 4 way stretch fabric which still gives you plenty of room for unrestricted movement and a relaxed feeling fit. The Renegade Jean™ incorporated all of the legendary features that KÜHL is known for such as a full gusseted crotch (for freedom of movement) and 3D pocket (so you don't sit on your wallet), our signature drop-in cell pocket and our unique Freeride Waist (for form fit). The KÜHL Revolution continues by bringing you the better of two worlds.
